Background information about 'Live'n'Alive'

Some bands are built for the studio. Thundermother are built for the stage, and "Live'n'Alive" is the proof pressed onto plastic. Nineteen tracks, five cities, zero overdub safety net - Cologne, Huskvarna, Copenhagen and Gothenburg all get their turn here, and every one of them sounds like the roof is about to come down. This is the Swedish quartet doing what they have always done best: plugging in, turning up and letting the riffs do the talking.

The set list reads like a greatest-hits run through a career spent refusing to slow down. "Loud and Free" lands early and sets the tone, "Dog From Hell" and "Shoot To Kill" bring the bite, and "Driving In Style" closes things out with the kind of swagger that only comes from a band who know the crowd is already theirs. What makes it work is the rawness - you can hear the room, the sweat, the crowd answering back. No polish, no filler, just five musicians and a few thousand people agreeing on the same thing.
