Background information about 'Untergang'

The album "Untergang" by Urfaust represents a profound exploration into the depths of black metal, avant-garde, and lo-fi soundscapes. Recorded in the bunker alongside Deportator, this 2023 release is imbued with a raw and visceral energy that challenges conventional genre boundaries. The musical compositions evoke a sense of desolation and existential dread, woven with intricate textures and haunting melodies that captivate the listener.

Adorned with the striking artwork by Iza Car, "Untergang" offers a sonic journey through themes of decay, cosmic chaos, and inner voids. The album features seven tracks, including titles such as "Untergang," "Höllenkosmos," and "Atomtod," each contributing to a cohesive narrative of destruction and transformation. The meticulous production and evocative performances make this album a significant addition to the contemporary black metal and avant-garde scenes.
