The Spillberg brothers Rich and Barry, along with Bob Mayo, crafted something truly special here - a record that's both ferociously aggressive and surprisingly sophisticated in its approach to thrash metal songwriting.
From the moment the neck-snapping opener "Wasteland" kicks in, you know you're in for something intense. The razor-sharp riffing cuts through everything while the frenetic solos add layers of complexity that keep you coming back for more. Tracks like "Revenge" deliver that molten assault of pure thrash fury, while the epic nine-minute title track "Wargasm" proves these guys weren't afraid to stretch out and explore different dynamics.
