Alkaloid answers this question with "Bach Out of Bounds", a mind-bending fusion that shatters every preconception about classical and extreme metal boundaries. Recorded live across three prestigious venues in the Netherlands during summer 2024, this release captures the German supergroup at their most adventurous, collaborating with award-winning classical musicians to create something truly unprecedented.

The magic unfolds through faithful renditions of Bach classics like "Allegro" and the sacred "Agnus Dei", where heavenly vocals dance with crushing riffs in perfect harmony. But Alkaloid being the mad scientists they are, also reimagine their own acclaimed tracks through Bach's compositional lens. "Beneath the Sea" emerges as a speaker-shaking precursor to their monster hit "Cthulhu", while the brand new 10-minute epic "Haunter of the Void" follows a digitized brain into deep space's crushing void. These aren't mere covers or classical arrangements – they're complete sonic transformations that prove metal and baroque can create something greater than the sum of their parts.
