Background information about 'Beswærilsin'

Shamaatae has never been interested in half measures, and "Beswærilsin" is the proof. Everything released under the Arckanum banner is an extension of his Thursian spiritual practice, and this record treats music, lyrics, sound and artwork as one single ritual working rather than a collection of songs. The lyrics are written in Old Swedish, drawing on Old Norse and Swedish poetic tradition and spiked with elements of svartkonst, so they land like mythic charms and narrative incantations rather than verses to sing along to.

And the sound? Feral. Unpolished. Stripped of every unnecessary ornament and left raw with aggression. The production swings between the freezing storms of Niflheimr and the blazing fury of Múspellsheimr, cold and searing at once, primitive yet remarkably dynamic. It is the old Arckanum foundation pushed into harsher, more restless territory, and it hits like a blizzard you did not see coming. Ten tracks, no filler, no compromise, no interest in pleasing anyone but the current itself.
