Background information about 'Alt Som Finnes'
Bizarrekult delivers a breathtaking exploration of existential darkness with "Alt Som Finnes", an album that perfectly captures the Norwegian post-black metal maestro's evolution. Roman V.'s third studio venture emerges from personal crisis, transforming despair into sonic brilliance that'll leave you absolutely stunned. The opening track "Hun" sets the stage with haunting melodies that build into the crushing intensity of "Blikket Hennes", where guest vocalist Yusaf "Vicotnik" Parvez from Dødheimsgard adds ethereal clean vocals that contrast beautifully with the album's overwhelming darkness.
What makes this release absolutely incredible is how Bizarrekult maintains that classic Norwegian black metal ferocity while pushing boundaries into post-metal territories. The collaboration with vocalists from Predatory Void, MØL, and Dødheimsgard creates a tapestry of voices that reflects the album's central theme – we're not alone in our struggles. The closing track "Tomhet" breaks new ground as the first Bizarrekult song sung in English, delivering the powerful message: "Am I alone like this? No, we are many."
