Background information about 'Grind Bastard'

Benediction's "Grind Bastard" is a relentless assault on the senses, a masterful display of death metal craftsmanship. Originally released in 1998, this album stands as a testament to the band's unyielding ferocity and intricate musicianship. The opening track 'Deadfall' sets the tone with its blistering pace and brutal riffage, followed by 'Agonised', which showcases their ability to blend melody with sheer aggression. Throughout the record, Benediction maintains a relentless drive that never lets up.

The titular track 'Grind Bastard' epitomizes the album's core ethos—an unapologetic embrace of raw power and thematic intensity. What makes "Grind Bastard" particularly compelling is its seamless integration of diverse influences while remaining firmly rooted in death metal's traditional framework. The album's production enhances its visceral impact, ensuring every note hits with precision and weight. Fans of the genre will find this reissued edition an essential addition to their collection.
