Background information about 'With Serpents Scourge'
French death metal maniacs Necrowretch deliver pure sonic brutality with "With Serpents Scourge", a relentless assault that showcases why they've become one of Europe's most ferocious extreme metal exports. This album is a masterclass in old-school death metal savagery, combining razor-sharp riffs with thunderous rhythms that'll leave your speakers begging for mercy. The band channels the primal fury of classic death metal while injecting their own venomous personality into every crushing moment.
From the opening blast of "Black Death Communion" to the apocalyptic finale of "Mortem Ritu", Necrowretch proves they're masters of their craft. The production hits that sweet spot between raw aggression and clarity, allowing every bone-crushing detail to shine through. Tracks like "Even Death May Die" and "Infernal Imprecation" showcase the band's ability to craft memorable hooks within their wall of sonic devastation. This is death metal that respects the genre's roots while pushing boundaries with uncompromising intensity.
