Scalpture's sophomore album "Eisenzeit" continues their aggressive death metal onslaught, building upon their debut with a sharper focus on melody and unrelenting heaviness. Formed in Bielefeld in 2009 by founding guitarist Felix Marbach, Scalpture has always aimed for an uncompromising death metal sound, while crafting a unique musical identity. The band's thematic obsession with "war" is reflected in all their album titles, drawing from detailed historical research to portray the horrors of war beyond glorified stereotypes. Despite this theme, Scalpture advocates for modern values like tolerance, peace, and reason.
