Thirty-five years into their sinister journey, Norwegian black metal veterans Tulus deliver their eighth full-length "Morbid Desires" – a masterclass in hellishly catchy darkness that proves these Nittedal legends are far from finished. This isn't just another black metal album; it's a testament to the enduring power of well-crafted malevolence, where every riff cuts like a blade through the soul.

The nine tracks on "Morbid Desires" showcase Tulus at their most refined yet ferocious. Blodstrup's grim vocals weave through an abundance of mid-tempo anthems that burrow deep into your consciousness and refuse to let go. But don't mistake this for one-dimensional brutality – the band masterfully incorporates flamenco flourishes, acoustic interludes, and beautifully chanted passages that add haunting layers to their trademark sound.
