Background information about 'Morbid Desires'

After 35 years of Norwegian darkness, Tulus proves that some fires never die. "Morbid Desires" arrives like a perfectly crafted nightmare, nine tracks of hellishly addictive black metal that'll have you coming back for more punishment. This isn't some rehashed nostalgia trip – it's Tulus at their most refined and vicious, delivering mid-tempo anthems that crawl under your skin and refuse to leave.

What sets "Morbid Desires" apart is its devilish diversity. Sure, you get those trademark crushing riffs and Blodstrup's throat-shredding vocals, but then they throw in flamenco guitars, haunting clean passages, and acoustic interludes that catch you completely off guard. The album's crown jewel, "Sabbat", stretches beyond eight minutes of pure worship to the godfathers themselves – a Black Sabbath tribute so masterfully executed it'll make you question everything you thought you knew about homage tracks. Recorded at Andy La Rocque's legendary Sonic Train Studios, this beast sounds absolutely massive.
