Disaster Triumphant arrives like weather rolling in from a direction nobody was watching. Bonjour Tristesse build their sound from the ground up — cold tremolo riffs, drums that hit like collapsing scaffolding, and a vocal rasp that sounds less performed than excavated. This is atmospheric black metal with dirt under its fingernails, and it refuses to be pretty about it.
