Background information about 'Instruments Of Torture'

"Instruments Of Torture" stands as a crushing testament to Brodequin's mastery of brutal death metal, delivering an unrelenting assault that lives up to its medieval torture-themed title. The album showcases the band's signature blend of technical precision and raw brutality, with tracks like "Spinning In Agony" and "The Virgin Of Nuremburg" painting vivid pictures of historical torment through devastating riffs and punishing rhythms. Each song feels like a carefully crafted weapon, designed to bludgeon listeners into submission while maintaining the surgical precision that separates great brutal death metal from mere noise.

The production captures every nuance of Brodequin's sonic torture chamber, from the bone-crushing low end to the razor-sharp guitar work that slices through the mix. Standout tracks like "Strappado" and "Duke Of Exeter" demonstrate the band's ability to balance technical prowess with sheer aggression, while bonus tracks including a cover of Dead Infection's "The Anatomical Deeps" show their respect for the underground scene that birthed this style. The album flows seamlessly from one punishing track to the next, creating an experience that's both exhausting and exhilarating.
