"Two Flies Flew Into A Black Sugar Cobweb" spins Hansel and Gretel into something so bleak you'll never look at a gingerbread house the same way again. Seregor's theatrical snarls and narrations are in top form, switching between characters with the manic energy of a one-man horror play, while Ardek's orchestral arrangements swell and crash like a Danny Elfman score dipped in corpse paint. The drums hammer with surgical precision, and Namtar's blastbeats hit like slamming doors in an abandoned asylum. This is black metal as cinema — grotesque, beautiful, and absolutely merciless.
