Product information "CRAFT · Void | BLACK 2LP"

Black double vinyl in gatefold cover.

Background information about 'Void'

Swedish black metal titans Craft return with "Void", a devastating sonic assault that pushes the boundaries of extreme metal into even darker territories. This album represents a masterclass in atmospheric black metal, where each track builds upon layers of suffocating darkness and relentless aggression. The band's signature blend of tremolo-picked melodies and blast beat fury creates an immersive wall of sound that feels both claustrophobic and expansive. The production maintains that raw, unpolished edge that makes black metal so visceral, while allowing enough clarity for the intricate guitar work to shine through the chaos.

"Void" showcases Craft's evolution as songwriters, incorporating longer compositions that ebb and flow between moments of crushing intensity and eerie atmospheric passages. The album's conceptual framework explores themes of existential dread and spiritual emptiness, perfectly complemented by the band's most mature musical arrangements to date. Each song feels like a journey through different layers of darkness, with the rhythm section providing a relentless foundation for the guitars to weave their hypnotic patterns. This is black metal at its most refined yet uncompromising.
