Background information about 'Banished By Sin'

Florida death metal legends Deicide return with vengeance on "Banished By Sin", delivering their signature blend of blasphemous brutality and technical precision that has made them icons of extreme metal for over three decades. Glen Benton's unmistakable growls cut through the mix like a serrated blade, while the guitar work showcases the band's evolution without abandoning the ferocious foundation that made classics like "Legion" and "Once Upon The Cross" so devastating. Tracks like "From Unknown Heights You Shall Fall" and "Bury The Cross...With Your Christ" demonstrate the band's ability to craft memorable hooks within their wall of sonic aggression, proving that Deicide hasn't lost a step in their relentless assault on organized religion and conventional morality.

The album's production strikes that perfect balance between modern clarity and old-school grit, allowing every blast beat and tremolo-picked riff to hit with maximum impact. Songs like "Woke From God" and "The Light Defeated" showcase the band's knack for creating anthemic moments within their chaotic framework, while deeper cuts reveal layers of complexity that reward repeated listening. This isn't just another death metal album - it's a statement of intent from veterans who refuse to compromise their vision or soften their message after all these years.
