These rebellious Belarus dissidents prove they're anything but a one-trick pony, building on their black and post-black metal foundation while fearlessly diving into doom, heavy, progressive metal, electronic music, goth, and even folklore. What makes "Vyraj" truly special is its concept of 'Belarusian ethno-astronomy' – the starry sky intertwined with afterlife journeys, reflecting the band's forced emigration from their homeland. The title itself refers to a mythical realm where migrating birds winter and departed souls find rest. From the opening "Zory" through the haunting "Return My Coffin Home", each track takes you on an emotional rollercoaster through depression, raw anger, defiance, and ultimately transcendent exhilaration.
