Background information about 'Goliath'

Top-charting thrash legends EXODUS have returned with a vengeance on their 12th studio masterpiece "Goliath" – and what a colossal statement it is! This isn't just another thrash album; it's a full-scale sonic assault that proves these Bay Area titans are still operating at peak ferocity after four decades of mayhem. The return of Rob Dukes on vocals adds that extra layer of intensity we've been craving, delivering what might be his career-defining performance. From the dissonant opening chords of "3111" to the manic finale of "The Dirtiest Of The Dozen", this album showcases EXODUS at their most collaborative and diverse.

The real magic happens when guest contributions from Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain) and violinist Katie Jacoby elevate tracks like "The Changing Me" and the title track "Goliath" into anthemic territory. Gary Holt and Lee Altus deliver guitar work that's both technically devastating and emotionally gripping, while the rhythm section of Tom Hunting and Jack Gibson provides that trademark EXODUS groove that makes your neck snap involuntarily. Producer Mark Lewis has captured every ounce of authenticity, making this feel like the natural evolution of the band that gave us "Bonded By Blood".
