Background information about 'Black House'

Secrets Of The Moon have always been masters of reinvention, but "Black House" takes their evolutionary journey to staggering new heights. This isn't just another progressive metal album – it's a haunting psychological thriller wrapped in sonic brilliance that showcases the German outfit's most ambitious work to date. The band's transformation from their black metal roots into something far more complex and cinematically rich is nothing short of breathtaking.

From the ominous opener "Sanctum" to the crushing finale "Earth Hour", every track on "Black House" feels like a carefully crafted piece of a larger, more sinister puzzle. The interplay between atmospheric passages and crushing metal moments creates an unsettling tension that keeps you on edge throughout the entire journey. Songs like "Veronica's Room" and "He Is Here" demonstrate the band's newfound ability to blend progressive sophistication with their trademark darkness, while "Cotard" delivers some of the most emotionally devastating moments in their catalog.

For fans of:
Katatonia, Anathema, Ulver, The Ocean, Ihsahn, Leprous
