Background information about 'Angels Hung From The Arches Of Heaven'

Goatwhore returns with their most devastating sonic assault yet on "Angels Hung From The Arches Of Heaven" – a masterclass in blackened death metal that showcases the New Orleans quartet at their absolute peak. This isn't just another extreme metal album; it's a carefully crafted journey through darkness that balances crushing brutality with sophisticated songwriting. From the haunting "Invocation 3" that opens the gates of hell to the thunderous finale of "And I Was Delivered From The Wound Of Perdition", every track pulses with malevolent energy and razor-sharp precision.

The production here is absolutely stellar, allowing each instrument to breathe while maintaining that crushing wall of sound that makes your speakers beg for mercy. Ben Falgoust's vocals alternate between demonic growls and piercing shrieks with the confidence of a seasoned master, while Sammy Duet's guitar work weaves intricate melodies through the chaos. Tracks like "Born Of Satan's Flesh" and "The Devil's Warlords" showcase the band's ability to blend technical prowess with raw, primal aggression that hits you like a sledgehammer to the soul.
