Background information about 'Invoking The Majestic Throne Of Satan'

Raw, uncompromising black metal fury — that's what Inquisition delivers on "Invoking the Majestic Throne of Satan". This 2025 reissue of their devastating 2002 sophomore album stands as a testament to the Colombian-American duo's ability to craft atmospheric darkness with razor-sharp precision. From the opening blast of "Embraced by the Unholy Powers of Death and Destruction" to the haunting finale of "Imperial Hymn for Our Master Satan", this record showcases Dagon's distinctive croaking vocals and hypnotic riffing paired with relentless drumming that creates an otherworldly sonic ritual.

The album's production, originally handled at Radicoactive Studios by John Schluckebier and mastered by Mark Guenther, captures every nuance of Inquisition's signature sound — that perfect balance between primitive aggression and cosmic atmosphere. Tracks like "Kill with Hate" and "Rituals of Human Sacrifice for Lord Baal" demonstrate their mastery of creating epic, trance-inducing compositions that transport listeners into realms of ancient darkness. This reissue on stunning purple vinyl ensures that this underground classic reaches a new generation of black metal devotees.
