Background information about 'Obscure Verses for the Multiverse'

Obscure Verses for the Multiverse is the sound of a band staring straight into the void and refusing to blink. Inquisition built their sixth full-length around a riff language that feels carved out of cold stone: hypnotic, circular, endlessly repeating figures that lock into your skull and refuse to leave. Dagon's guitar tone is a buzzing, cavernous thing, and his vocal delivery — that unmistakable croak-and-chant hybrid — sits somewhere between a ritual invocation and a warning whispered from a collapsing star. Every track here stretches out patiently, letting the atmosphere thicken until the air itself feels heavy.

What makes this record so gripping is its sense of scale. Tracks like the title cut and "Master of the Cosmological Black Cauldron" don't just play — they orbit, pulling you through cosmic imagery and dread-soaked melodies that owe as much to classic heavy metal riffing as they do to the most uncompromising black metal. The production is deliberately raw but never sloppy, giving the drums a live, thundering presence while the guitars swirl like smoke through a cathedral of ice. It is hypnotic, weirdly catchy, and utterly its own beast.
