On their third full-length "Back to Primal Sludge", this transatlantic death metal alliance doubles down on everything that made their sophomore "Those of the Morbid" such a gut-punch. The formula? Simple: take the rotting, putrid swagger of Florida death metal and fuse it with the cold, chainsaw buzz of Stockholm. The result is a filthy, glorious 9-track wrecking ball that doesn't let up for a second.

The core of this beast lies in the friendship between German vocalist Marc Grewe (ex-MORGOTH, INSIDIOUS DISEASE, ASINHELL) and Swedish multi-instrumentalist Rogga Johansson (PAGANIZER, RIBSPREADER, REVOLTING). Grewe's guttural roar sounds as venomous as ever, while Johansson's riff-work is a masterclass in old school brutality — think Dismember's "Like an Ever Flowing Stream" meeting the sheer malice of early Cannibal Corpse. Tracks like "These Blades" and "Dead Soul Consortium" hit with surgical precision, while "Seelenjäger" adds a sinister, almost atmospheric touch. This is death metal played by lifers, for lifers — no frills, no trends, just pure, unadulterated sonic violence.
