Background information about 'Parasites In Paradise (Remastered)'

There is something gloriously unpolished about "Parasites In Paradise", and that is exactly the point. Prestige came out of the Finnish thrash underground with riffs sharpened on the same whetstone as the Bay Area greats, but with a colder, meaner edge that only a Nordic winter can forge. Fourteen tracks, no filler, no mercy — just a rhythm section that locks in like a machine and guitars that spit and snarl through every single bar. This remastered re-issue finally gives the record the punch it always deserved, dragging those buried rhythm guitars up front where they belong and letting the bass actually breathe.

What makes this one stick is the songwriting. "Will This Ever End?" and "Crack Children" hit hard and get out fast, while "That Makes Me Sick" and "Too Greedy" show a band that knew how to build tension before the payoff. There is a scrappy, hungry energy running through the whole thing that no modern production can fake — you can practically hear the rehearsal room sweat. The closing stretch, from "Thursday The 12th" through "I Ain't The One", is a proper victory lap. If you grew up taping thrash compilations off late-night radio, this will feel like coming home.
