Originally recorded in 1989 during their infamous split sessions with Disharmonic Orchestra, this collection showcases the band at their most primitive and unhinged – a testament to the era when death metal was still finding its most savage voice. The studio recordings capture that unmistakable late-80s production rawness that modern bands desperately try to recreate, but Pungent Stench delivered naturally with crushing authenticity.
