"Aeons Untold" is a record that opens a trapdoor under your feet on the very first riff and never bothers to offer a rope. "Metaphysical Iconoclasm" sets the tone with a lurching, rotten groove, all downtuned muscle and drums that land like collapsing scaffolding, and from there the band simply refuses to let the pressure drop. There is a real craft here in the way the songs breathe — just long enough to let you think you have found your footing before "Bloodstained Tears" kicks the stool away again.

What makes this one stick is the balance between filth and precision. The guitars are thick and tar-black, but the playing is tight, and the mid-paced crush of "Embedded In Hollowness" and "Internal Dismay" shows a band who understand that the heaviest moments are often the slowest ones. Flip the record and "Psychotic Ecstasy" arrives like a fist through drywall, while "Verminous Floods" and "Resurrected In Chaos" pile on the kind of riffing that makes you want to break furniture in the best possible way. "Doomsday Prayer" drags things into a genuinely nasty, doom-tinged crawl before "Blood Unforeseen" closes the coffin with a final, ugly flourish.

This is death metal for people who like their records to smell of smoke and old basements — no polish, no gimmicks, just ten tracks of relentless, well-built brutality. Crank it loud and let it rot in your skull for a while.
