Background information about 'Feel The Steel (15th Anniversary Edition)'
Steel Panther, the audacious and flamboyant glam metal band from Los Angeles, brings a touch of vibrant nostalgia with their album "Feel the Steel." Originally released in 2009, this debut studio album marked a defining moment for the band, characterized by their satirical take on the glam metal genre. With Michael Starr's charismatic vocals leading the charge, tracks like "Death to All but Metal" and "Fat Girl" are emblematic of their humor-infused style. The album is a delightful blend of profane wit and musical prowess, seamlessly capturing the essence of 80s glam rock while parodying its excesses.
In celebration of its fifteenth anniversary, "Feel the Steel" is reissued as a limited edition on stunning purple marbled vinyl. This special release features a revitalized packaging that includes rare photographs from the original album shoot. Additionally, this edition offers two bonus tracks previously exclusive to Japan: "You Don't Make Me Feel Dumb" and "I Want Your Tits," further enriching this iconic collection. For fans old and new, this anniversary edition serves as a vibrant tribute to Steel Panther's enduring legacy in glam metal.
