Background information about 'Für Lemmy'
What a wild ride Wecköhrhead delivers with this tribute to the immortal Lemmy Kilmister! "Für Lemmy" is pure German hard rock fury that channels the spirit of Motörhead while maintaining its own distinct Teutonic edge. From the opening blast of "D-Das Pik As" to the rebellious anthem "Friss Die Reichen", this album doesn't just pay homage – it celebrates the raw power and uncompromising attitude that made Lemmy a legend. The band's German lyrics add an authentic punk rock snarl that feels both familiar and refreshingly different.
The second half kicks into overdrive with tracks like "Ich Bin Der Doktor" and the politically charged closer "Nur Weil Ihr Die Macht Habt, Habt Ihr Noch Lange Nicht Das Recht". Every riff hits like a sledgehammer, every vocal line drips with the kind of attitude that would make the old bastard himself crack a smile. This isn't just another tribute album – it's a statement that rock and roll rebellion knows no borders.
