Background information about 'Nattestid... (Re-Release)'

There are albums that carve themselves into your memory from the very first spin, and "Nattestid..." by Taake is exactly that kind of record. This is Norwegian black metal in its purest, most atmospheric form - raw, cold, and utterly mesmerizing. The album unfolds like a journey through a frozen Norwegian night, where every riff feels like it's been chiseled from ice and every melody carries the weight of ancient forests and forgotten winter landscapes.

What makes "Nattestid..." so special is the way it balances sheer aggression with haunting, melancholic beauty. The tremolo-picked guitars cut through like arctic winds, while the occasional clean passages and folk-tinged melodies add a layer of depth that rewards repeated listens. It's raw and lo-fi in all the right ways, capturing that authentic, underground spirit that made the early Norwegian scene so legendary - yet it never feels amateurish. Every song is a carefully constructed piece of dark art, and the atmosphere is so thick you could almost feel the frost on the speakers. This is black metal that demands your full attention, and it delivers every single time.

For fans of:
Darkthrone, Burzum, Immortal, Mayhem, Gorgoroth
