Background information about 'Before The Creation Of Time'
“Before The Creation Of Time” is an essential compilation album by Unleashed, encapsulating the raw and formative years preceding their seminal 1991 debut, Where No Life Dwells. This collection offers a deep dive into the band's earliest works, assembling every recorded track from pivotal sessions such as The Utter Dark and Revenge, as well as the comprehensive Bielefeld recordings. The compilation also features songs that appeared on the And The Laughter Has Died… 7” EP, the Century Media promo tape, and the Century Media compilation In The Eyes Of Death. Remastered meticulously by Patrick W. Engel at the Temple of Disharmony, the tracks present a refreshed auditory experience that honors the band's foundational sound.
Moreover, the album includes an exclusive in-depth interview with frontman Johnny Hedlund, providing insights and historical context directly from the artist. The jewel-case CD is complemented by a 16-page booklet, offering additional background and artwork, making it a prized possession for collectors and dedicated fans alike.
