Background information about 'Annihilation Process'
Violator's 'Annihilation Process' EP brings a ferocious energy that captures the essence of Old-School Thrash Metal with a modern twist. Originating from Brasília, Brazil, Violator has been active since 2002 and has consistently delivered music that pays homage to the thrash legends of the past while forging their own path. 'Annihilation Process' showcases the band's evolution, with complex song structures and themes that range from socio-political awareness to raw thrash self-referentiality.
This EP is a testament to Violator's commitment to the genre, combining relentless riffs and intense tempos with a powerful vocal delivery by Pedro Arcanjo. Tracks like 'Futurephobia' highlight their musical maturity, blending aggressive riffs with thought-provoking lyrics. This release is essential for fans of both traditional and modern thrash metal, encapsulating the spirit of a new wave of post-millennial thrash.
