Background information about 'Le Secret'

"Le Secret" is an iconic EP from the French project Alcest, originally released in 2005 and rapidly becoming a collector's gem. This release laid the conceptual groundwork for Alcest's future works, combining euphoric and nostalgic soundscapes that reflect Neige's esoteric childhood experiences. The reissue features both the original tracks and re-recorded versions, capturing the essence of Alcest’s evolution.

Musically, "Le Secret" oscillates between serene melodies and intense crescendos, encapsulating a mystical journey that transcends typical genre boundaries. Each composition is a tapestry of emotional depth, providing listeners a glimpse into Neige’s visionary world where music serves as a conduit for spiritual exploration.
