Background information about 'Merciless'
The groundbreaking rap-metal band Body Count returns with their highly anticipated eighth album "Merciless." On this 11-track release, Ice-T and his crew unleash more energy than ever. Having endured personal tragedies, societal pushbacks, and a sea of naysayers, the group emerges bloodied but unbroken, with more fury than ever before. "It's really about the point where you can't take it anymore," says Ice-T about the album. Featuring guest appearances from George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (Cannibal Corpse), Joe Bad (Fit For An Autopsy), and Max Cavalera (Soulfly), "Merciless" offers plenty of firepower. The current lineup includes surviving OGs Ice-T, Ernie C., and Sean E. Sean, bolstered by bassist Vincent Price, drummer Will "Ill Will" Dorsey, Juan "Juan of the Dead" Garcia, and backing vocalist Little Ice.
