Cannabis Corpse delivers an absolutely crushing debut with "Blunted At Birth", a brutal homage to the golden era of Florida death metal that hits harder than a bong rip at a Cannibal Corpse show. This is primal death metal at its most unhinged – where jackhammer drumming meets guttural vocals in a haze of cannabis-fueled carnage. Every track is a twisted tale of weed-induced mayhem, with LandPhil Hall's bass-heavy assault and his brother Hallhammer's relentless percussion creating a sonic steamroller that flattens everything in its path.

The genius lies in how these Municipal Waste veterans channel their obvious reverence for the Tampa death metal scene while injecting their own brand of stoned brutality. From the opening title track's devastating riffs to the bone-crushing finale, this album proves that death metal and marijuana make for one hell of a deadly combination. The production captures that raw, unpolished aggression that made early 90s death metal so damn effective.
