When you think of death metal royalty, David Vincent stands as one of the most uncompromising figures in extreme music history. "I Am Morbid" isn't just another rock autobiography - it's a raw, unflinching journey through the mind of a man who helped define one of music's most brutal genres. Vincent, the iconic frontman of Morbid Angel, has never been one to mince words or play it safe, and this book maintains that same fearless approach to storytelling.
Written with the help of bestselling author and music journalist Joel McIver, this biographical work takes readers through Vincent's life story, which is inseparably linked to the legendary band that made him both beloved and reviled in equal measure. From his time with what he calls the "sexiest rock band in the world" to his unexpected love affair with traditional country music, Vincent reveals both amusing and shocking stories from his career. The book also offers ten instructional lessons on finding peace with yourself while living on the front lines of chaos, making it part memoir, part life guide for anyone who refuses to compromise their vision.
For fans of: Morbid Angel, death metal memoirs, and uncompromising artistic vision.
