DYMNA LOTVA's "The Land under the Black Wings: Blood" is an evocative journey through the shadows of Belarusian history and personal turmoil. The duo, having fled Belarus due to political persecution, channels their experiences into a haunting blend of black metal, doom, and traditional music. This third album in their conceptual trilogy is laden with melancholic melodies and lyrics based on true tales from Belarus, drawing from historical archives and folklore. It stands as both a beautiful and painful piece of contemporary metal, yet also as a powerful cry for freedom amidst ongoing oppression.

The inception of DYMNA LOTVA dates back to November 8, 2015, sparked by Belarusian writer Svetlana Alexievich winning the Nobel Prize in Literature. Their debut album "The Land under the Black Wings: Swamp" marked the beginning of their musical exploration. With "Blood," they continue this journey with songs filled with grief and defiance. Despite facing censorship and suppression in their homeland, the duo's music remains a testament to resilience and artistic integrity.
