Background information about '...Magni Blandinn Ok Megintíri...'
Falkenbach, originally a solo project of Vratyas Vakyas, has etched its name into the annals of blackened pagan metal. The 1998 release "...Magni Blandinn Ok Megintíri..." stands as a testament to the band's evolution and refinement. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Bathory and the second wave Nordic black metal movement, this album offers a matured sound that is both melodic and immersive. With intricate compositions and atmospheric elements, Falkenbach crafts an experience that pays homage to its influences while carving its own distinct niche in the genre.
This album is not only a continuation but also an expansion of the musical themes introduced in their debut "…En Their Medh Riki Fara…". It weaves tales steeped in mythology and ancient lore through haunting melodies and powerful instrumentation. As such, "...Magni Blandinn Ok Megintíri..." is hailed as a pivotal release within its genre—a piece that resonates deeply with fans of both traditional black metal and those seeking something uniquely expansive.
