Thematically, "Garden Of Heathens" finds frontwoman High Priestess Nighthawk delivering her most personal lyrics yet, exploring things that aren't real - from the American Dream to relationships. While Nighthawk's powerful vocals provide gravitational pull, Heavy Temple remains fundamentally a riff-first band, expanding their sonic palette to encompass influences ranging from Baroness to The Beatles, Black Sabbath to Fu Manchu.
