This wasn't a band trying to reinvent the wheel — this was a band trying to smash it, set it on fire, and piss on the ashes.

Unsane, Insane and Mentally Deranged is exactly what it says on the tin. Spawned from the guts of Swedish death metal royalty (ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, MERCILESS), these four degenerates had one mission: worship at the altar of AUTOPSY. And boy, do they deliver. From the moment those first riffs tear through your speakers, there's no pretense, no sophistication — just pure, unadulterated, booze-soaked death metal. The Swedes don't try to hide their influences; they wear them like a badge of honor. And honestly, given their collective pedigree, they pull it off with disgusting ease.

The production is raw and gnarly, the vocals sound like they're gargling broken glass and gasoline, and the whole thing reeks of cheap beer and decay. It's a love letter to San Francisco's most depraved sons, filtered through the Swedish death metal lens.
