Background information about 'Exul'

Ne Obliviscaris returns with their most ambitious statement yet on "Exul", a masterwork that pushes the boundaries of progressive extreme metal into uncharted territories. This Australian collective has crafted something truly extraordinary here – six compositions that weave together crushing brutality with moments of breathtaking beauty, creating an emotional journey that hits you right in the gut. The violin work soars above crushing riffs while clean vocals dance with harsh growls, building atmospheric landscapes that feel both intimate and epic.

What makes "Exul" so compelling is how it balances technical prowess with genuine emotional depth. Tracks like "Equus" and "Suspyre" showcase the band's ability to shift from delicate, almost chamber music-like passages into bone-crushing metal without missing a beat. The production captures every nuance, from the subtle string arrangements to the thunderous rhythm section that drives these compositions forward with relentless precision.
