Think Neil Young & Crazy Horse meeting the icy aggression of black metal, painted in purples and burning oranges that fade into twilight. The compositions here prioritize depth over speed, with Charlie Anderson's string arrangements adding both gravity and ethereal movement. Each track features different guest vocalists including Aaron Charles (Falls Of Rauros), Jan Evan Åsli (Vemod), and Jan 'Winterherz' Van Berlekom (Waldgeflüster), creating a rich tapestry of voices that somehow maintains perfect cohesion. This is an elegy for wilderness lost, childhood memories turned to myth, and a life spent in quiet communion with a world slipping away.
