Product information "SILENCER · Death, Pierce Me | DIGIPAK CD"

Digipak CD reissue with bonus track.

Background information about 'Death, Pierce Me'

Silencer's sole full-length offering stands as one of the most harrowing and emotionally devastating albums in black metal history. "Death-Pierce Me" captures raw human anguish through tortured vocals that sound like they're being ripped from the very soul, paired with minimalist yet deeply atmospheric compositions that create an unsettling sense of isolation. The Swedish project's approach to depressive black metal feels genuinely dangerous and unhinged, with tracks like "Sterile Nails And Thunderbowels" and "The Slow Kill In The Cold" building tension through repetitive, hypnotic passages that mirror the cyclical nature of despair.

This re-release includes the original demo version of the title track, offering insight into the project's evolution while maintaining the album's reputation as an essential document of suicidal black metal. The production maintains just enough clarity to let every agonized shriek cut through the mix while preserving the lo-fi aesthetic that makes the experience so viscerally uncomfortable. Silencer created something that transcends typical genre boundaries, delivering an album that feels less like music and more like a psychological document.
