Background information about 'Unborn'

Six Feet Under have never been a band to tiptoe around the bloody mess. Unborn is a slab of pure, unapologetic death metal that grabs you by the throat from the first riff and doesn't let go until the last guttural roar fades out. Chris Barnes delivers his signature cavernous vocals with a venomous intensity that feels both menacing and utterly captivating, while the rhythm section pounds away with a groove-laden precision that makes you want to bang your head until it falls off.

The album moves like a freight train through a graveyard — tracks like \u201cZombie Blood Curse\u201d and \u201cDecapitate\u201d are filthy, nasty, and absolutely glorious in their brutality. But there's a surprising amount of dynamics here too; Unborn knows when to slow down and let the atmosphere creep in, only to smash it all apart again with a thunderous riff. The production is raw enough to keep that underground feel but polished enough to let every crushing detail shine through. It's classic Six Feet Under doing what they do best: making death metal that's as catchy as it is heavy.
