Background information about 'Spiritism 2008-2017'
Spiritus Mortis delivers a crushing compilation that showcases the definitive Albert Witchfinder era with "Spiritism 2008-2017". This essential collection gathers rare and sought-after tracks from 7" and 12" singles and splits featuring Sami Albert "Witchfinder" Hynninen on vocals – recordings that never appeared on regular Spiritus Mortis albums and have never been available in digital format until now. The songs have been completely remixed by Joona Lukala and Sami Hynninen, breathing new life into these doom metal classics.
The compilation spans from the haunting "When The Wind Howled With A Human Voice" to the thunderous "Rise From Hell", showcasing the band's mastery of heavy, atmospheric doom. The CD edition is expanded with exclusive bonus live material including "The Man Of Steel / Death Walking", "Divine Wind", and "Baron Samedi", capturing the raw power of Spiritus Mortis in their live element. This is absolutely essential for all fanatics of real Heavy/Doom Metal.
