Product information "TOMBS · Savage Gold | BLACK 2LP"

Black double vinyl in gatefold sleeve.

Background information about 'Savage Gold'

Tombs unleashes their most devastating sonic assault yet with "Savage Gold", a masterpiece that perfectly balances crushing black metal brutality with post-metal atmospherics. This Brooklyn-based trio has crafted ten tracks of pure intensity, where Mike Hill's tortured vocals slice through walls of distorted guitars like a blade through flesh. From the opening devastation of "Thanatos" to the sprawling epic "Echoes", every moment drips with calculated malevolence and artistic brilliance.

The album showcases Tombs at their most refined yet uncompromising, blending the raw aggression of their earlier works with sophisticated songwriting that reveals new layers with each listen. "Séance" and "Deathtripper" demonstrate their ability to create hypnotic, trance-like passages before exploding into pure chaos, while the closing track "Spiral" serves as a haunting six-minute descent into darkness that will leave listeners breathless and craving more.
