In 1987, just a year after their groundbreaking debut album "Bloody Vengeance," Brazilian extreme metal pioneers Vulcano returned with "Anthropophagy," a more mature yet equally ferocious LP that benefited from the band's increasing live activity. Unlike previous reissues of "Anthropophagy," this album has been expertly restored and remastered by studio veteran Patrick W. Engel. With its perfect blend of razor-sharp tightness and unpredictable riff madness, "Anthropophagy" is a treat to be experienced (again), especially in its definitive 2024 incarnation.
