Background information about 'Anthropophagy'

In 1987, just a year after their groundbreaking debut album "Bloody Vengeance," Brazilian extreme metal pioneers Vulcano returned with "Anthropophagy," a more mature yet equally ferocious LP that benefited from the band's increasing live activity. Like their first record, High Roller Records has given this album a deluxe reissue treatment. Unlike previous reissues of "Anthropophagy," this album has been expertly restored and remastered by studio veteran Patrick W. Engel. With its perfect blend of razor-sharp tightness and unpredictable riff madness, "Anthropophagy" is a treat to be experienced (again), especially in its definitive 2024 incarnation.
