Background information about 'The Fist In The Face Of God'
Four decades of Norwegian black metal supremacy crystallized into one monumental collection – this is what legends are made of! Darkthrone have carved their names into the frozen heart of extreme metal, and "The Fist In The Face Of God" stands as the ultimate testament to their uncompromising vision.
This deluxe 9LP collection spans the band's most essential period, from the genre-defining "A Blaze In The Northern Sky" through to "Sardonic Wrath", capturing Fenriz and Nocturno Culto at their most ferocious. Each album has been lovingly remastered while maintaining the raw, authentic sound that made these releases so groundbreaking. The included 48-page book and exclusive DVD interview provide unprecedented insight into the minds behind some of black metal's most influential recordings.
