Product information "SCALPTURE · Feldwärts | CD"

Jewelcase CD with a 16-page booklet, limited to 500 copies.

Background information about 'Feldwärts'

"Feldwärts" by Scalpture marks a significant step forward for the band, refining their sound into an even more structured and sophisticated form of heavy death metal. Formed in Bielefeld in 2009, Scalpture was created with a clear vision by founding guitarist Felix Marbach: to deliver uncompromising death metal. The album remains true to its roots while showcasing an evolved musical complexity that sets it apart.

Lyrically rooted in the theme of war, the album's tracks are a product of detailed historical research, delving into the horrors and impacts of warfare. Unlike many bands that glorify such themes, Scalpture's lyrics aim to portray the grim realities of war, all while advocating for modern values like tolerance and peace. This approach not only distinguishes "Feldwärts" but also establishes Scalpture as a band with depth and purpose beyond mere musical expression.
