Black vinyl.

Background information about 'Nattestid...'

When Norwegian black metal legends Taake unleashed "Nattestid Ser Porten Vid" upon the world, they didn't just deliver an album – they crafted a nocturnal odyssey that stands as one of the genre's most compelling statements. This isn't your typical blast-beat bombardment; it's a sophisticated exploration of darkness that weaves together raw aggression with unexpected melodic interludes and atmospheric passages that'll leave you breathless.

What makes this release absolutely essential is how Taake mastermind Hoest constructs each of the seven movements like chapters in a twisted fairy tale. From the opening salvo of "Nattestid Ser Porten Vid I" through to the haunting conclusion of "Nattestid Ser Porten Vid VII," every moment feels deliberate and necessary. The production strikes that perfect balance between clarity and rawness – you can hear every tremolo-picked note cutting through the mix while maintaining that essential black metal grit that makes your spine tingle.

For fans of:
Darkthrone, Emperor, Immortal, Satyricon, Mayhem
