Background information about 'Veil Of Death, Ruptured'

Dutch black metal conjurers Asagraum return with their most devastating opus yet, "Veil Of Death, Ruptured" – a ferocious testament to the band's evolution into one of underground metal's most compelling forces. This third full-length offering showcases the duo's mastery of atmospheric darkness, weaving together blistering tremolo-picked passages with haunting melodic interludes that burrow deep into the listener's psyche. The album's eight tracks form a cohesive journey through realms of spiritual torment and occult enlightenment, with each composition building upon the last to create an overwhelming sense of ritualistic catharsis.

From the opening ceremonial flames of "Ignem Purificat Lilitu" to the epic closing statement "De Waanzin Roept Mijn Naam", Asagraum demonstrates an impressive command of dynamics and atmosphere. The production strikes that perfect balance between raw underground authenticity and clarity that allows every nuance to shine through – from the hypnotic bass lines to the scorching guitar work that defines modern black metal excellence. This is black metal that respects tradition while pushing boundaries, creating something genuinely captivating for both seasoned veterans and newcomers to the genre.
